which
1。如果我們描述的東西是在一般情況(没有指明某一特定的東西),我們只能用'which',
不用'that'。
e.g.
Our teacher gave us lots of mathematical problems to solve, which
will take more than three hours to solve.
老師給了我們很多數學問題做,這將需要三個多小時來解決這些問題。
(備註:
在這句子我們没有指明那一條數學題,所以在這句子中只能用‘which’,不能用‘that’。)
2。如果我們描述東西是具體的,我們就可以用'that'或'which'。
e.g.
I don't know how to solve the mathematical problem that/ which my
class teacher gave us.
我不知道如何解決這條老師給我們的數學問題。
