First Conditional - Part 2

First Conditional - Part 2

The pattern of the First Conditional is as follows:

If + (Simple Present Tense),  will + (Base Verb).

It is made up of the condition and the result.

2. If the result is not very certain, we can use ‘might’ or ‘may’ instead of ‘will’.

Example

1a. If I have time, I may read this book.

1b. If I have time, I might read this book.
